Review: Klipsch S2m Earphones

One of the best Christmas presents I got last December was a pair of Klipsch S2m earphones.  I’ve been using them for a few months now, and I don’t know that I’ll ever use other earphones again with my iPhone.  Klipsch tends to make quality products for sure, and this is no exception.  The audio quality is excellent; the highs are crisp and the lows are full without being too punchy.  Due to the oval eartip, they are comfortable to wear, seal well and ear fatigue is low.  I wish the microphone was just a bit higher and that it came with a shirt clip, but other than that, I am quite satisfied.

They are priced at $59.99, and the S2 for iPods (no mic/button) is $10 less.  (They will also work on non-Apple products, buy why would you do that?)  I would recommend these for everyone from the average music listener to the audiophile at a pricepoint that is a little high for one and a lot lower for the other but painful for neither.  And the carrying pouch is included, which is always in my pocket wherever I go, giving my life a soundtrack whenever needed.
