so i’m in austin, texas with 3 buddies attending a worship conference. but not just any worship conference. the national worship leader conference. national baby…

i’m not sure what to expect; i’ve never attended a worship conference before. i hope to be encouraged, have some challenges validated, and some questions answered.

i think my biggest question would be this: in order to be the church and have an impact on your neighborhood and city, fellowship in a community of Jesus followers (church) is a must. sunday is beneficial and encouraging, but not necessary. community is essential; sunday is optional. as a worship leader, our responsibility (and for some, job) is focused on sunday, not the communal life of the fellowship. so how are we as leaders to best live into that tension?
